Armenian Nursing

Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Jamaica Plain, Mass., is a nonprofit, more than 80-bed facility that provides long- and short-term care and personalized services, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to senior adults. It is operated by the Armenian Women's Welfare Association. The center provides its residents assistance with daily living activities and offers recreational activities, such as trips to local restaurants. It also provides physical, occupational and speech therapies according to the patient s specific needs. Additionally, the center provides rehabilitative therapies, including hydrotherapy, orthotic, cryotherapy and prosthetic therapy. Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center also offers respite care and assistance with functional movement with the aid of rehabilitative equipment, such as exercycles, wall pulleys and parallel bars. Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center also offers various religious and spiritual activities, such as Easter and Christmas celebrations.
