Port Healthcare Center

Port Healthcare Center is a more than 90-bed, Medicare-certified health care facility. It is operated by Whittier Health Network, which is a family-owned health care organization in operation since 1982. Port Healthcare Center provides subacute care services, rehabilitation and long-term care placement. It provides a range of services, such as wound management, patient teaching, nutrition counseling, and podiatry, dental and optometry services. The center also provides intravenous, pulmonary, physical, occupational and speech therapies. In addition, the center offers 24-hour nursing care by registered and licensed doctors and nurses, skilled technicians and therapists. It employs full- and part-time activity personnel, administrative staff, cooks, dietary aides and housekeeping personnel. It is located in Newburyport, Mass.
